*A meeting for parents of Confirmation candidates is offered ahead of the preparation cycle in order to meet one another, learn about the sacramental preparation materials and format and to ask questions. Parents must attend a meeting before the young person/s in their family begin preparation. Please register for one Parent Meeting:
Parents and Sponsors have a unique and profound privilege and responsibility of passing on the Christian faith to the young people in their lives. Parents and Sponsors will have opportunities throughout the Confirmation preparation process to do just that, by attending the gathered in-person preparation sessions with the candidate, and completing take-home activities with them.
Confirmation Preparation will be offered in two cycles. Space is limited. Please register for one cycle:
A complete list of cycle dates, times, and locations is available for download "Confirmation Preparation 2024-2025". Sometimes it is necessary to change the location of an activity to another nearby facility. If this becomes necessary, Springbank Catholic Family of Parishes will notify parents / legal guardians of candidates.
*Sponsors must be at least 16 years old, have received the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation and be practicing their Catholic faith. They may not be the parent of the candidate.
