Advent Wreaths

Advent Wreaths are an easy way to mark the season of Advent, the four weeks of preparing for the celebration of the birth of Jesus at Christmas, in your home.

 

Jesus referred to himself as the “light of the world” (Jn 8.12). Lighting Advent candles demonstrates even to the littlest believers, an important biblical image of light breaking through the darkness.

Using the Blessing of an Advent Wreath family prayer booklet included in this Kit, preparing an Advent Wreath in your home can also create an opportunity for an easy family prayer experience throughout the Advent Season.  

What is included?

  • Wire wreath form  

  • Set of four Advent candles 

  • Decorative charger plate  

  • Blessing of an Advent Wreath, a booklet for family prayer  

  • Instructions for creating a live Advent Wreath  

  • Storage box  

 

Greenery is not included. Complete your wreath by collecting pine or evergreen branches in your neighbourhood, or branches may be purchased from most local grocery stores and gardening centers!
