Community and Social Ministry

One of the key components of a strong and thriving church community is the gift of gathering together as a family. Springbank Catholic's community has many different social events and ministries in which we encounter the Lord together.

Take a look below at some of the ways you can get involved in our community!

Collection Counters

Assist in collecting and counting the weekly parish collections. Contact Rod Tramble at rtramble@dol.ca to get involved.

Parish Breakfasts

Groups at Springbank Catholic often host parish breakfasts. These breakfasts are a chance to join together as a community for fellowship and food. Check our bulletin and social media to stay updated on when the next parish breakfast is being held.

Gardening Team

Our Gardening Team at both St. George and St. John the Divine keep the flowers and planters looking beautiful throughout the year. If you like to garden and would like to help on one of these teams, contact Rod Tramble at rtramble@dol.ca.

Roman Roadhouse

Roman Roadhouse is a monthly speaker series. Issues that have been discussed include "What do Buddhists Believe and Practise," "Being a Difference Maker," and more. Visit the Roman Roadhouse page for more information.

Picnic in the Park

In September, Springbank Catholic hosts a Family picnic! The last picnic took place at Springbank Park. We had ice cream, face painting, inflatables, and more! Check back later for information about the September 2023 picnic.

Livestreamers

Each weekend, Springbank Catholic livestreams Masses. To get involved with this team, contact Beth Northcott at apowell@dol.ca. No experience is necessary.
